One of the things you can do to improve your company culture and elevate company standards is incorporate a Quality Assurance Program. A Quality Assurance Program is something simple organizations can do to promote consistency, high level employee performance, employee satisfaction, and a positive company culture.
When forming Quality Assurance metrics, have a qualified member of the team assist with this project. Having their perspective is critical since they too are going to be held to these set of standards. The rubric should be very relative to the role and function of the employees. Keep it simple with a number or quality system such as (1) Exceeds Expectations (2) Meets Expectations (3) Needs Improvement.
Employee Performance Reviews can then be conducted around Quality Assurance metrics, which can tie into employee bonuses and commissions. I believe performance reviews should be completed both quarterly and annually. Employees desire frequent feedback and want to know what they are doing well as well as be made aware of their areas of improvement.
QA programs can also be utilized to show your company’s uniqueness to edge out competition. When your organization demonstrates it has an excellent monitored Quality Assurance Program in place, this can be utilized to show clients or customers how your company performs.
